This initiative establishes a partnership with the organizers to broaden the activities and provide an opportunity to engage, interact and appreciate the diverse culture in our community. 2006 WinterSong Festival a new 10-day festival held February 10th – 19th, 2006. The festival will occur at the same time every year and celebrate the joy of song through a wide range of performances across West Vancouver in a variety of venues; showcasing professional and aspiring talent as well as providing singing opportunities for all abilities and ages, and highlighting songs from a broad range of musical styles.

It is estimated that we engaged and entertained over 3,000 audience members and supported close to 600 professional, semi-professional and emerging performers. We had over 24 community volunteers involved in the pre-event activities and the Festival itself. Over 138 volunteer hours were donated during the Festival itself with 1000’s of hours donated to organize the event.
