BOOKtopiais the West Vancouver Children’s Literature Festival. Cultural Capital grant program funded a special series of Illustrator’s Workshops given by artists Rose Cowles and Diana Bonder at the West Vancouver Memorial Library.
The North Shore Writers Festival, April 19-30, 2006 was enhanced by the appearance of Peter Robinson at the Festival. A Canadian bestselling mystery writer, Robinson appeared in an evening talk about his books. Well-known B.C. writer, Aislinn Hunter was the writer in residence providing one-on-one teen writing workshops.
